Meet Miranda

Many of you have had the opportunity to meet and visit with Miranda here in our office, she keeps everything here running with ease. And, I wanted you to get to know the wonderful woman that is Miranda a little better. We are so lucky to have her talent and skills at Momentum!

Where did you grow up?

Sun Valley, Idaho

Tell us a little about your family.

My husband and I have been together for 10 years (married for 3) and we have an amazing little boy, Oliver, who is one and a half. And at the risk of sounding totally cheesy, he is the light of my life and is so much more incredible than I ever could have hoped for. He’s also way too smart for us already!

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time?

Well, we are Bozeman newbies! We’ve only been here since May and are still exploring the area. We love to camp, rock climb, play tennis and try new things! If you have any fun activities around Bozeman that you recommend, I would love to hear about them.

What’s something people are surprised to hear after they get to know you?

That I’m an only child… apparently, I don’t fit the only child stereotype.

Would you rather go 30 days without your phone or your entire life without dessert?

I would give up my phone without a second thought! I love detaching from technology (one of the many reasons I enjoy camping) and the idea of getting to disconnect from my phone for that long sounds completely refreshing. Besides… who wants to give up cheesecake for the rest of their life?

What drew you to working in healthcare?

As long as I can remember I’ve just felt a strong pull to the administrative side of the healthcare field. I followed this interest in college and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Healthcare Leadership & Management from Boise State University. Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked in hospitals (Labor & Delivery and NICU), clinics (primary & urgent care), non-profit healthcare and holistic medicine. Now, at Momentum, I get the chance to branch into physical therapy for the first time and I have been loving it! Amy has a very patient-centered approach that I haven't seen anywhere else & it is wonderful to be a part of.
